Readme - SVP 2.1.81

This driver supports Agere (formerly Lucent) softmodems (SV92P, SV92PL, SV92P2, and SV92PP) with PCI Device ID's:

For PCI:
048C, 048E, 048F, 0600, 0620 and 630

For USB:
047E

For MDC (Modem daughter card - primarily found in Notebook computers):
1040, 3026, and 3055

If your Softmodem uses a different PCI Device ID, see this section. V.92 features supported include Modem-on-hold, Quick Connect (Fast Connect) and PCM upstream. V.44 data compression is also supported. Quick Connect and Modem-on-hold are enabled by default; PCM upstream is disabled by default. These settings can be modified with appropriate V.92 commands. Modem-on-hold version 1.78 should be used with this release.

The 2.1.81 driver release is available in 6 different downloads and are digitally signed: For 32-bit Windows XP or Vista using PCI, USB or MDC interfaces; and, for 64-bit Windows Vista with PCI, USB and MDC interfaces. Earlier operating systems (Windows 95, 98, Me, NT, and 2000) are not supported with this driver release, but these operating systems may be supported with earlier driver versions (2.1.47 and earlier) available from Modemsite Downloads.
