Forum 56 Privacy Policy

Forum56 is a public Internet-based discussion group.

Registration is necessary to post or reply to messages. Registration is not necessary to read existing messages. When you register, you are asked to supply a user name, password, e-mail address and other optional information. The information you enter here is not verified, and all information entered, except for the password, may be viewed by anyone accessing the Forum once you have posted a message or reply. (By clicking the Show Profile icon associated with the message.) Thus, if you register, you should consider all information you supply, except for the password, to be publicly available.

E-mail - When you register, you must include an e-mail address. If you enter your real e-mail address, spammers may obtain that address by surfing the Forum; however, if you use a 'fake' e-mail address, some Forum features will be unavailable to you. This includes e-mail notification when a reply is made to your message, and sending your password if you forget it.

Cookies are used by the Forum software in managing the message database and user sessions. They are not used for any other purpose.

Advertising is supplied by 3rd parties who may use cookies and/or other methods to select advertising that appears on pages you view. These 3rd parties have their own Privacy and opt-out policies, and includes: Burst. If you click on an ad, you leave this site and are subject to the privacy policy of the destination site. While the destination site might be able to determine that you came from a Forum56 page, no information about you or your Forum registration is passed to any advertiser or affiliate by this site.
